Internship and Community Engagement Cell

About the Internship & Community Engagement Cell

The Internship & Community Engagement Cell of Dibru College has been established to promote experiential learning, skill development, research aptitude, and social responsibility among students in accordance with the objectives of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP). The Cell provides students with opportunities to gain first-hand practical experience through internships in diverse sectors such as banking and finance, information technology, education, healthcare, media, tourism, environment, commerce, and emerging technologies.

Alongside internships aimed at enhancing employability and research aptitude, the Cell also encourages meaningful community engagement through activities related to NSS, local civic bodies, and social outreach programmes. Students are guided by faculty mentors and are required to complete structured academic engagement, submit reports, and deliver presentations as part of the evaluation process.

The Cell also facilitates collaboration with institutions, organisations, industries, and government flagship programmes to strengthen students’ practical exposure and community participation. Through these initiatives, the Internship & Community Engagement Cell seeks to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world experience while nurturing socially responsible, skilled, and professionally competent graduates.
