The Department of Geography, Dibru College, organized a Students’ Introduction Programme on 10th August 2024 to welcome the newly admitted B.A. 1st Semester students. The programme aimed to acquaint the freshers with the department’s academic environment and to foster a sense of belonging among them.

The occasion was graced by Dr. Mitali Chaliha, Head of the Department of Geography, DHSK College, as the invited guest. In her address, she encouraged the students to actively engage in both academic and co-curricular activities and highlighted the importance of geographical studies in understanding contemporary environmental and social issues.
