Introduction
- The Department of English was established in 1963, concurrent with the founding of the college.
- Initially, it offered only Arts faculty courses. Science and Commerce streams were subsequently introduced between 1970 and 1974.
- It boasts a team of experienced faculty members specializing in diverse areas of English literature and language studies.
- The Department offers comprehensive undergraduate programs designed to foster critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Additionally, the Department maintains comprising 300 books and journals.
