Program

Four Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) recognised by NCTE is a dual major undergraduate degree program in teaching with general studies offering a broad foundation in knowledge for teaching in foundational, preparatory, middle and secondary stages. Dibru College has proposed to introduce the four year B.A.B.Ed. (Secondary stage) and B.Sc.B.Ed. (Secondary) course from the session 2026-27 after receiving Letter of Intent (LOI) from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) vide letter no. F.No.NCTE / ERC / 2526202404242296 / ASSAM / 2024 / LOI Dated: 06/03/2025 and F.No.NCTE / ERC/2627202505124267/ASSAM/2025/LOI Dated: 04/08/2025 respectively. This will enable students to obtain dual bachelors degree in Education (B.Ed.) as well as B.A. or B.Sc. in subjects of their choice.
